Blues Coloured Thursdays

Today's blog is brought to you by Blues Coloured Thursdays at http://bluescolouredthursdays.blogspot.com

The colour this week is Salmon.

Thank goodness my daughters went to Cancun or I'd have nothing to blog for the colour Salmon. They had a great time and here are the pics from down south.

The Simple Craft Contest & the Rocket Scientist.

Well, I was all gung ho on entering the craft contest. All you had to do was paint something for the holidays. Pretty simple huh?

I sprayed 4 coats of paint on this bell and not only is it not covering the picture underneath, I had left the price sticker on! Can you see the torn edges where I had apparently tried to get it off years ago? Yes, I just noticed it.

I have to have it done by tonight so I sprayed another coat of paint and this time sprayed a lot longer. Do you notice the bubbles of paint near the top? Me too.

Well, I thought I could put the price sticker on the back side and try to cover the bubbles with a bow, but then I thought: NO.
But don't worry, I'm not giving up. No Siree Bob. I'll be eagerly waiting to F... up the next contest.

I wondered what else I could paint today for Xmas since I was already filling the house with noxious fumes. I came up with this:

Red tacos seem festive at Christmas. You could give people red coffee filters. I think apples look much nicer with red paint; this one looks like the apple in Disney's Snow White movie! So there's a few ideas for you for your decorating pleasure.

First Things First.

This is what happens when you work on crafts and read blogs for two days straight.

Since the dishes don't block the TV, my husband doesn't care.

I like that about him.
